We stay after launch.
FeatherPort builds software for other businesses, and runs the systems businesses depend on. Both halves exist so that someone is accountable for the thing working.
One company doing two things that are usually sold by two different kinds of firm.
Why both halves
Most development shops hand over a repository and disappear. The product they built is technically finished and nobody is responsible for it on the morning it stops working.
Most IT support firms cannot build anything. They can keep your email running, and when you need something that does not come out of a box, the answer is a different supplier and a new set of excuses.
We do both, so we are accountable for the thing working rather than just for it shipping. If we built it, we run it. If you already have it, we can take it over. If what you need is nothing to do with software and everything to do with your email, your accounts and your backups, that is the same phone call.
Why a build with us starts further along than zero.
What we have already written
Underneath the client work sits engineering we have already written and run: authentication, payments and payouts, multi-tenant data access, background jobs, notifications, deployment pipelines and observability. It is not a product anyone integrates with. It is the reason a new build does not start from an empty folder, and the reason the people who built a system are the ones who can still fix it at eleven o’clock at night.
No form, on purpose. A form would put a queue between you and the person who does the work.
